Why corruption is widespread in Ghana

Corruption is Ghana’s development enemy number one. The World Bank is categorical about corruption and development when it says, corruption is the single greatest obstacle to economic and social development. The World Bank goes on to explain that, corruption undermine development by distorting the rule of law and weakening the institutional foundation on which economic growth depends.
