The Russian owner rejected the £35 million bid for his manager who is struggling to get back to winning ways with his Premier League champions.
The meeting between Alessandro Proto and Roman Abromovich is reported to have taken place in London on Tuesday according to a statement released by Proto’s company, Proto Enterprises to Spanish news agency.
